Site Improvements
In accordance with section 6.02 of the Amended Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions Wynlakes, any change to the front of a house, or a change that is visible to your neighbors from your back or side yards, must either have been approved in the original plans to your home, or have been approved by the Modifications Committee prior to beginning work on the project. Some of the most common (and frequently overlooked) improvements that require an approved Application are: repainting your house, changing the color of your shutters or roof tiles, extending the driveway or adding a parking pad, adding a fence, a deck or patio, extensive changes to your landscaping, and installing permanent play or sports fixtures.
If you plan on making a change to your home or property, you must first file an Application for Site Improvement and obtain approval of the Modifications Committee before you begin work.
Copies of the form are available on line at the Wynlakes HOA web site and in the HOA office. You may also refer to the Modifications Guidelines documents as well for more information.
If there is any question about whether your proposed project needs approval, please call the HOA Office at (334) 215-4452.
